A Christmas card says you're thinking of someone. A charity Christmas card says something extra. It tells them you chose a card that helps others too.
That's why charity cards are at the heart of what we do at My Ornaments.
Australian charities, Australian designs
We stock boxed Christmas cards supporting 13 Australian charities:
· Beyond Blue
· Breast Cancer Network Australia
· Dementia Australia
· Jeans for Genes
· Kids Helpline
· Make-A-Wish
· McGrath Foundation
· National Breast Cancer Foundation
· Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation
· Peter Mac Cancer Foundation
· Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia
· Redkite
· Starlight Children's Foundation
Many of the designs are by Australian artists, and plenty of them have a distinctly local feel. Flowering gum, fairy wrens, kangaroos and koalas sit alongside the classic robins, doves, wreaths and reindeer.
How your purchase helps
When you buy a boxed set of charity cards, part of the proceeds goes to the charity named on the box. The amount varies by publisher. Where the publisher tells us the figure, we include it on the product page.
It may be a modest amount per box. But across many boxes sold each Christmas, it adds up to real support for research, nurses, helplines and families.
Quality you'll be happy to send
These aren't cheap cards with a logo added. Many come in wallets of 10, printed on premium paper with foil highlights and gold envelopes. Some ranges are printed on FSC paper with soy inks.
Choose a charity that means something
Plenty of people choose a charity close to their own family's story. Others pick one that suits the person receiving the card. Either way, it adds meaning to a simple Christmas tradition.
