It’s October. Halloween decorations are going up, and Christmas stock is already arriving in stores.

Only one character belongs comfortably to both seasons. Jack Skellington.

Halloween or Christmas?

Fans have argued for years about whether The Nightmare Before Christmas is a Halloween film or a Christmas film. I don’t think it needs to be settled. The answer is both, and that’s why people love it.

That’s also why the Jack Skellington Hallmark Funko Pop! Ornament is one of my favourite pieces in our Hallmark range.

What you get

The ornament shows Jack as a small version of his classic Funko Pop! design. If you or someone you know collects Funko Pops, you’ll recognise the style straight away.

It’s made from resin and measures about 5.8 cm x 8.6 cm x 4.2 cm. It comes with a hanger attachment, so it’s ready for the tree as soon as it’s out of the box.

The price is $15.00.

Why it makes a good gift

At $15, it’s ideal for Secret Santa, a stocking filler or a small gift for a workmate. It’s personal without being expensive.

It’s also a good choice for someone who’s hard to buy for. Many people have a favourite film, but few have an ornament of it. This one shows you paid attention.

Collectors may want to keep the box. Licensed Hallmark ornaments tend to hold their appeal, and fans like a complete set.

Explore the wider range

Hallmark ornaments feature characters from films, TV shows, toys and sport. We currently list 54 Hallmark ornaments at My Ornaments. If Jack is on your list, it’s worth browsing the rest. You may find a gift for someone else too.
